Our Story
TLS Landscape was born from the need to support a migrant family from the state of Hidalgo, Mexico.
In 2001, after graduating from high school, Justino Tethu founded Tethu Lawn Service and began landscape maintenance on Sanibel Island and in Fort Myers. The journey was not easy, but TLS managed to establish and flourish.
Thanks to the noble profession as Landscaper and the support of his family, In 2007 Justino obtained a degree as Drafter and Designer.
In 2011 Justino returned to Mexico to reconnect with his values and Indigenous roots, which deepened his respect for the natural environment and his passion for transforming spaces.
In 2015, he returned to Florida with the desire to continue the TLS project and by 2019, the second family division, TLS Landscape, was created, carrying the symbol of a dove—representing hope and new beginnings.
TLS evolved over the years and despite challenging moments, such as the 2009 recession and Hurricane Ian in 2022, TLS has managed to rise again with strength and perseverance, while staying true to its essence.
TLS Landscape is built on family principles and values, treating every project as if it were its own. Today, Justino, Luz, Raúl, David, and an outstanding landscaping team are grateful for the opportunity to serve with commitment and transparency, making TLS Landscape a true family company.

Our Roots
TLS Landscape was founded with an amazing vision in mind, to create outdoor living spaces of stunning beauty, function, and craftsmanship. What originally began as a small, family-run business grew into an ingenious company that’s not afraid to push the envelope of cutting-edge designs and concepts to create the ultimate outdoor living space.
What we do comes out of an artistic appreciation for creating landscapes from ideas, then watching them grow. Each project is viewed as a chance to create spaces people would love, come together in, and feel proud of. And that attention to detail and kindness is truly the foundation of everything we do today.
Over time TLS Landscape has evolved into a brand. Our superb portfolio of services includes not only creative design, but also thorough maintenance and upgrades to keep our properties looking great and functioning perfectly. We have grown and evolved, but our commitment to quality, integrity and forging long-term relationships has never changed.
